The Firm
Nicolini Studio is an architectural firm with a diverse portfolio of work in and around Padua and it has developed a speciality in the repair, preservation and restoration of buildings. The firm provides the re-purposing, rehabilitation and restoration of existing buildings and listed housing estates as well as full architectural services for a wide range of large and small scale projects including new construction and renovation of existing facilities.
Our Team
Nicolini Studio was established in the 1980s thanks to the expertise of the engineer Franco Nicolini. Since that time he has led the firm through the development and completion of numerous high-quality restoration and renovation projects in Padua’s city centre and he was a pioneer in the preservation of the original materials in old buildings. The architect Nicoletta Nicolini has been collaborating with her father since her university studies; after the degree in architecture, she has completed several formative and professional workshops and seminars regarding restoration and renovation in Florence and Venice. Thanks to this synergy Nicolini Studio has developed over the years a reputation for being a proficient architectural firm. Nicoletta Nicolini
Architect
After the high school diploma in Padua (classical studies), a degree in architecture (IUAV Venice 110/110) and a Master’s degree in restoration in Florence, Nicoletta Nicolini has been focusing on architectural redevelopment and landscape upgrading. She has worked on numerous brilliant projects with great passion and dedication such as the restoration of the Casa della Rampa which is part of the old complex Reggia dei Carraresi, in Padua. This project was so successful that it was included as one of the best restoration in the FOAV archive. Moreover she has published the book “La Reggia dei Carraresi a Padova” and also chaired several conferences. She is also a member of the organisation ICOMOS Italia.
